The New York Jets fell to the Buffalo Bills 17-16 the last time the two teams met in September; this time around, they exacted some revenge. New York rang in the new year with a 13-6 victory over Buffalo on Sunday. The success made it back-to-back wins for the Jets.
No one had a big game offensively for New York, but QB Sam Darnold led the way with one touchdown.
The win bumped New York's record up to 7-9. This is the second loss in a row for Buffalo and nudges their record down to 10-6.
New York's regular season is over. As for Buffalo, they and the Houston Texans go head to head next week at 4:35 p.m. ET at NRG Stadium in their first playoff matchup of the year. The neutral point spread forecasts a close one for these two.
