Thursday Night Football betting preview

Seattle and Los Angeles are tied atop the NFC standings heading into this showdown, and they are also tied for first place in the NFC West. The 49ers (10-4) and Bears (10-4) are both in contention for the top overall seed as well, but Thursday's game is the most important one left in the regular season. Seattle has bounced back from a 21-19 road loss at Los Angeles in Week 11 with a four-game winning streak, including an 18-16 win over the Colts last week.  

The Rams have won eight of their last nine games, erasing an early 24-14 deficit in a 41-34 win over the Lions in Week 15. Quarterback Matthew Stafford further cemented himself as the MVP favorite, completing 24 of 38 passes for 368 yards and two touchdowns.
