Bears vs. Lions Live updates Score, results, highlights, for Sunday's NFL game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the Bears vs. Lions football game
After two games on the road, the Bears are heading back home. They will take on the Detroit Lions at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Bears pulled off an upset win in their last outing, and are hoping to pull that off once more against the 3-point favorite Lions.
Last Monday, the Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vikings 12-10.
Special teams was responsible for all of the team's points. All those points came courtesy of Cairo Santos: he added 12 points with four field goals.
The team's defense also helped out by holding the Vikings to a paltry 242 yards. The Bears didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Those interceptions were spread across the Bears' defensive unit.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Lions beat the Saints 33-28 on Sunday.
The Lions relied on the efforts of Sam LaPorta, who picked up 140 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Jared Goff, who threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns.
The losses dropped Chicago to 4-8 and Minnesota to 6-6.
The pair pleased both fans and bettors in their last contests by winning and covering the spread. Looking forward, the match is expected to be close, with the Lions going off as just a 3-point favorite. They might be worth a quick bet since they're sitting on a four game streak of covering the spread when playing as the favorites on the road.
