Warriors' Quinten Post: Sniffs double-double in victory
Post chipped in 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, one steal and one block across 25 minutes in Tuesday's 98-79 win over the Clippers.
The big man got the starting nod in place of Brandin Podziemski for the second time this season and made the most of the opportunity. Post led the Warriors in rebounds and three-pointers while logging more than 20 minutes for the first time through five regular-season games. He also delivered a bounce-back performance after totaling just seven points in the team's first four outings, during which he reached double-digit minutes twice and shot just 37.5 percent from the field.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Starting vs. LAC
Post will start in Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
The second-year big man will get the starting nod over Brandin Podziemski for the second time this season. Over four regular-season appearances, Post has averaged 1.8 points and 2.5 rebounds across 10.5 minutes per game. During his lone start in Friday's loss to Portland, he had five points, four rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Headed to bench
Post will come off the bench for Monday's game against Memphis, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Post started and logged 16 minutes Friday, but the Warriors were blown out by the Trail Blazers in that one, so Steve Kerr will go back to the starting lineup he deployed Opening Night. Post's minutes rarely exceed the teens, so he's not a great target in most leagues.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Promoted to starting role
Post is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Head coach Steve Kerr decided to tweak his lineup for the second leg of the back-to-back set, meaning Post will handle frontcourt duties alongside Draymond Green. Post, a second-year center out of Boston College, logged 13 minutes off the bench combined in Golden State's first two games.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Limited to nine minutes
Post finished Tuesday's 119-109 victory over the Lakers with two rebounds and one assist over nine minutes.
Post's workload was discouraging Tuesday. Al Horford saw 20 minutes off the bench, as the Warriors leaned on their small-ball lineups Tuesday. Horford is expected to be limited to 20 minutes per game this season and won't play in both games of back-to-back sets, so there will be some games where Post is a lot more involved.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Strong scoring off bench
Post contributed 16 points (5-11 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 20 minutes in Tuesday's 118-111 preseason win over the Trail Blazers.
Post came off the bench with Al Horford returning to the lineup but still logged meaningful minutes, finishing second only to Stephen Curry in scoring for the Warriors. The second-year big's strong preseason showing is encouraging as he looks to solidify his role following a promising rookie campaign, though Horford's arrival could limit his frontcourt opportunities alongside Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Headed to bench
Post will come off the bench for Tuesday's preseason game against the Trail Blazers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Al Horford is back from his rest day, so Post will split the reserve minutes with Trayce Jackson-Davis. Post could be someone to deploy throughout the year when Horford gets hit with rest days, but he doesn't offer enough upside to justify drafting in most leagues.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Starting Sunday
Post will enter the starting lineup for Sunday's preseason game against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
Al Horford (rest) is getting a maintenance day, and those are likely to be pretty standard this season. Post has fared well in the preseason and appears to have the edge over Trayce Jackson-Davis for the backup center minutes.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Scores team-high 20 points
Post produced 20 points (7-14 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-9 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes in Wednesday's 129-123 preseason win over the Trail Blazers.
Post came off the bench to lead the Warriors down the stretch. The Boston College product started 14 games last season. It provided much-needed support at the center position for the Warriors in February and March, as the roster struggled with frontcourt injuries. He's expected to serve a similar role this season, although the arrival of Al Horford and strong showings from Trayce Jackson-Davis will curb the youngster's fantasy potential.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Team option exercised
The Warriors exercised their $1.96 million team option in Post's contract Sunday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Post will return to Golden State for the 2025-26 campaign following a productive rookie season. The 25-year-old big man appeared in 42 regular-season outings (14 starts) last season, averaging 8.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.3 assists while shooting 40.8 percent from beyond the arc across 16.3 minutes per game.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Limited output off bench
Post provided three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and three rebounds across 10 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr rolled with smaller lineups for the most part Wednesday, as Trayce Jackson-Davis and Kevon Looney combined to play 13 minutes. Upgraded from a two-way contract back in February of 2025, Post emerged as a reliable rotation player down the stretch. He made 42 regular-season appearances, posting averages of 8.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers while hitting 40.8 percent from beyond the arc. It seems likely that the Warriors will pick up their team option for 2025-26.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Coming off bench in Game 3
Post is not in the Warriors' starting lineup for Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Timberwolves on Saturday, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Post was inserted into the Warriors' starting lineup for Game 2, but he played just three minutes without posting any counting stats. He'll shift to the bench for Game 3 while Trayce Jackson-Davis moves into Golden State's starting five. Post has played six minutes or less in each of his last three games after averaging 19.3 minutes per game over the first six games of the postseason against the Rockets.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Hardly plays despite starting
Post closed Thursday's 117-93 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals with no counting stats in three minutes.
With Stephen Curry (hamstring) out, it initially appeared as though Post would be a part of a much bigger lineup for Golden State. However, the rookie big man only logged three minutes of action, allowing for Trayce Jackson-Davis to play 19 minutes. Even with Curry set to miss a few more games, it's unlikely Post will be a significant factor in the Warriors' rotation.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Starting in Game 2
Post is in the starting lineup for Thursday's Game 2 against the Timberwolves, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports.
The Warriors will elect to roll with a larger starting five in the absence of Stephen Curry (hamstring), moving Draymond Green to power forward and Jimmy Butler to small forward. Post will presumably be much more involved Thursday after a quiet performance in Game 1, when he logged one rebound in six minutes of action.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Scores 13 off bench
Post recorded 13 points (4-11 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 20 minutes during Monday's 109-106 win over the Rockets in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Post moved back to the second unit due to Jimmy Butler returning to action, but the former made the most of his minutes. Look for him to be the first big man off the bench moving forward, with coach Steve Kerr clearly putting a lot of trust in him.

Warriors' Quinten Post: Back to bench
Post will come off the bench for Monday's Game 4 against the Rockets, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.
Post didn't provide much offensively in an opportunity to start during Saturday's Game 3, finishing with two points on 1-for-7 from the field in 27 minutes. Jimmy Butler will return to the starting lineup after missing time with a pelvic contusion, nudging Post back to a bench role.
