Both of these teams are off to unexpected 5-1 starts despite the fact that Paul George hasn't played yet for Philadelphia and Coby White is yet to suit up for Chicago. White (calf) remains out for the Bulls and Ayo Dosunmu (quad) is listed as questionable, so backcourt depth might be a concern. George (knee) has also been ruled out, but Joel Embiid should be fresh after being rested on Sunday against the Nets. The backcourt of Tyrese Maxey and V.J. Edgecombe could pose serious problems for a Chicago defense that gave up 31 points to Jalen Brunson in a loss to the Knicks on Sunday. Duke -9.5 vs. Texas (-106)

After landing the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for the third time in four seasons, Duke has a clear talent advantage over Texas. Sean Miller took Xavier to the NCAA Tournament in two of his last three seasons and also spent 12 year at Arizona, but he'll likely need a full recruiting cycle to get Texas back into contention. The Longhorns failed to cover in 10 of their last 13 games last season while the Blue Devils covered in 11 of their last 15.
