Twins DH/first baseman Justin Morneau hasn't played since April 30 because of lingering wrist soreness, but only now are the Twins moving him to the disabled list. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Twins made the decision in advance of Saturday night's game against the Mariners.
Morneau, who's hitting .230/.313/.459 on the season, is troubled by the left wrist upon which he had tendon surgery peformed in late September of last year. In his career, he's lost more than 200 games to injury.
It's not yet certain who will replace him on the active roster.
