Report: Phillies could still make 'big' move
The Phillies could be positioned to make a big move, including trading for an outfielder or signing Josh Hamilton or Zack Greinke.
The Phillies are in a position to do something "big," which could include making a play for outfielder Josh Hamilton or starting pitcher Zack Greinke, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports.
The team could also look at acquiring another outfielder via trade, says Passan.
The Phillies have already made two trades to improve their offense: one for Ben Revere and another for Michael Young.
The team will have to address pitching depth after trading four pitchers in the Revere and Young deals. If the Phillies decide to add a corner outfielder, the team could make 25-year-old Domonic Brown available in trade talks.
Brown has hit .236/.315/.388 with 12 home runs in 492 plate appearances over three seasons with the Phillies.
