2025 MLB playoff bracket: Schedule, scores as Brewers join Dodgers, Blue Jays and Mariners in LCS

The LCS field is complete in the 2025 MLB playoff bracket, as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Chicago Cubs, 3-1, in Saturday's decisive Game 5 to advance to the NLCS, where they will meet the Los Angeles Dodgers. Milwaukee received brilliant pitching, led by rookie Jacob Misiorowski, while solo home runs from William Contreras, Andrew Vaughn and Brice Turang accounted for the offensive production.

On Friday, the Mariners punched their ticket to their first ALCS since 2001, eliminating the Tigers in 15 innings in a winner-take-all ALDS Game 5. Jorge Polanco hit a walk-off single to score the winning run in the longest winner-take-all game in MLB playoff history. Seattle will face the Toronto Blue Jays for the right to represent the American League in the World Series.

Meanwhile on Thursday, the reigning champion Dodgers knocked out the Phillies in a tense, extra-inning affair that was decided on a walk-off error. Before that, the Blue Jays became the first team to make the LCS round, as they knocked out the Yankees in ALDS Game 4. The Jays are in the ALCS for the first time since 2016, and they're looking for their first World Series berth since 1993.

The Brewers, Blue Jays, Phillies and Mariners all earned first-round byes this season, but the Cubs, Yankees, Dodgers and Tigers all needed to win Wild Card Series to get here. The Dodgers completed a two-game sweep of the Reds, while the Cubs, Yankees and Tigers all needed three games to advance and knock out the Padres, Red Sox and Guardians, respectively.
