The Braves have released veteran reliever Jason Frasor, who was placed on the disabled list on Aug. 4 with a right shoulder strain.
Frasor had performed well before going down. He finished his stint with 6 1/3 scoreless innings and 1.29 ERA on the year with Kansas City and Atlanta.
