The Simpson Cup pitted 12 injured servicemen and veterans from the United Kingdom against their American counterparts. The competition comprised of a fourball, better-ball format on the first day over the Dye's Valley Course and 12 singles on the second day over The Players Stadium Course.
Talk about a great competition that received little attention a few weeks ago. Great Britain topped the Americans 11 1/2 to 6 1/2 on the course, but from the video it looks like everyone had a great time while engaging in some friendly competition.
The Simpson Cup is a put on by the On Course Foundation, which gives wounded servicemen and women the opportunity to play golf.
