Best Pick6 picks for August 29

(Projections from the SportsLine model)

RB Micah Welch, Colorado, 46.5 rushing yards - Less

Coach Prime deployed a running-back-by-committee last season as no Buffs player had more than 85 carries. Welch finished third on the team with 186 rushing yards, averaging 20.7 per game, but his opportunities could be further limited this season. Unlike Shedeur Sanders, new Colorado quarterback, Kaidon Salter, is a threat with his legs as he could very well lead the team in rushing this season. The model projects Welch to have 34 rushing yards versus Georgia Tech. Select it at Pick6:

RB Jamal Haynes, Georgia Tech, 0.5 rushing + receiving touchdowns - More (0.8x)

The Buffs defense was one of the few in college football that allowed more rushing touchdowns (17) than passing touchdowns (16) last season. The ground is where you can best attack Colorado, which favors Haynes, who is coming off 944 rushing yards and nine rushing scores. Haynes began his college career as a wide receiver, so he's also a threat to score via the air game and added another three receiving touchdowns last season. The model projects the Yellow Jackets running back to score 0.91 touchdowns on Friday. Click here to sign up for DraftKings Pick6:

WR Josh Cameron, Baylor, 55.5 receiving yards - Less

Baylor ranked in the top 20 in scoring offense, total offense and yards per play last season, with Cameron a huge focal point of that explosive offense. His 10 touchdowns were the second-most receiving TDs in the Big 12 as his 754 receiving yards led the team. Cameron finished the season on quite the run with 100-yard games in three of his last four, including the team's Texas Bowl matchup versus LSU. He's gone over 55.5 receiving yards in four of his last five games and gone over that bar in eight of his last 12 starts. Combine picks for a parlay on Pick6 for a potential payout of 4.8x.
