Shabanov scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Canucks.
Both points came on the power play. Shabanov has taken on a second-line role since returning from an upper-body injury that cost him one contest. The 26-year-old's involvement on the power play is also a positive sign if it holds -- it led to his first multi-point effort of the year. Overall, he has three goals, five assists, 15 shots on net and a minus-5 rating across 12 outings.
