Hyry scored a shorthanded goal on two shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 shootout win over the Avalanche.
Hyry missed out on the Stars' Opening Night roster, but he was the first call-up when Matt Duchene (abdomen) landed on long-term injured reserve. The 25-year-old Hyry has played in all seven of the Stars' games, logging a goal, eight shots on net, 17 hits, four blocked shots, seven PIM and an even plus-minus rating. He should continue to feature as a bottom-six forward.
