Lund (upper body) is expected to miss around a month, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports Thursday.
Lund appeared in 11 NHL games back in 2024-25, and he garnered two goals, one assist and 12 shots while averaging 11:30 of ice time. With his injury likely setting him back, the 22-year-old center will presumably have to settle for another year primarily in the minors before being a serious candidate for the NHL roster.
