Gibson will be in goal at home versus the Kraken on Friday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
Gibson will make his fourth straight start to open the season for the Red Wings, having posted a 1-2-0 record and 2.39 GAA. With the 33-year-old backstop getting the nod in the opening game of the Wings' back-to-back, fantasy managers should expect Daniil Tarasov to get the road start against Montreal on Saturday.
