Malkin scored a goal and added an assist in Thursday's 4-0 win over Florida.
After helping to set up a Hendrix Lapierre tally in the second period, Malkin produced a vintage goal of his own early in the third, somehow slipping the puck through a sprawling Gustav Forsling before beating a debuting Cooper Black glove side. Malkin has stayed healthy to begin the season and it's showing in his numbers, as the 40-year-old has six goals and nine points in 11 contests.
