Dickinson (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Oilers on Thursday.
Dickinson has missed the past week after sustaining an undisclosed injury during last Thursday's morning skate. The Oilers previously expressed optimism that the 31-year-old would be able to return at some point during the team's current road trip, but Edmonton's medical staff hasn't yet released an official target date for his return.
