Wood (undisclosed) was transferred to long-term injured reserve Wednesday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
This move was necessary to create cap space for the activation of Dakota Joshua (abdomen) from LTIR. Wood has had no established timeline for a return, but he will be required to miss at least three more games.
