Cossa stopped three of four shots in relief of Karel Vejmelka during Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers.
Cossa handled a little less than half of the game and faced little traffic. Through three outings this season, he's given up five goals on 31 shots. Cossa will continue to handle the backup role behind Vejmelka, which will likely see the former on the bench to begin Monday's game versus the Penguins.
