Sabourin logged an assist and five hits in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.
This was just the second appearance of the season for Sabourin, who has often been scratched in favor of a seventh defenseman. The 34-year-old enforcer has contributed one shot on net, seven hits and five PIM so far. He won't play every game, and his contributions on offense will be few and far between when he's in the lineup.
