Barron scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and logged three hits in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Panthers.
The tally was Barron's first of the season, and it snapped a six-game point drought for the 27-year-old. He's primarily played in a bottom-six role this season, though the Jets continue to shuffle line combinations amid an eight-game losing streak. Barron is at three points, 14 shots on net, 41 hits, 13 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating across 14 outings on the year.
