St. Ivany was placed on waivers by the Jets on Friday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
St. Ivany made the Jets' Opening Night roster to begin the 2026-27 campaign, but he appeared in just four of the team's first 10 regular-season games. He was held scoreless with six hits, five blocked shots and two PIM while averaging 13:31 of ice time, and he should see more consistent opportunities to make an impact in the minors, assuming he clears waivers.
