Demek was placed on waivers by Vegas on Wednesday, according to Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Demek had an assist in four regular-season appearances with AHL Henderson in 2025-26. The 23-year-old was limited by injuries last year, but he should get plenty of work with Henderson in 2026-27 if he stays healthy.
