Tippett (upper body) won't play against Colorado on Monday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
Tippett will miss his second straight game, and it's unclear when he will be available to return. He has earned one goal, two points, 21 shots on net and 23 hits in nine appearances this season.
