Jones scored twice in AHL Calgary's 5-4 loss to Bakersfield on Sunday.
Jones was waived by the Flames in late September. The 27-year-old forward probably won't get much of a look with the big club this season, as the team will likely prioritize giving prospects a reward for strong AHL play. Jones has three goals and an assist over four AHL outings to begin the season.
