Markstrom made 18 saves in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers.

Not only did Markstrom get stuck with his 18th loss of the season, but he also came out on the wrong end of a goalie fight when he skated the length of the ice to take on Igor Shesterkin midway through the third period. Markstrom puts a bumpy March behind him in which he went 6-4-0 in 10 starts despite a 3.09 GAA and .870 save percentage.
