Kyrou was not given a qualifying offer Monday, making him an unrestricted free agent, Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports.

Kyrou is coming off a career year in the minors, having registered 10 goals and 24 helpers in 55 regular-season contests. Selected by the Stars in the second round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, the 22-year-old blueliner could get some interest from around the NHL, though he may need to settle for a minor-league-only contract.
