Holl was loaned to AHL Hershey on Sunday.
Holl has two goals, two shots on net and three blocked shots in three NHL outings with the Capitals this season. However, he hasn't earned a point in three AHL appearances this campaign. Holl's demotion could bode well for the availability of Matt Roy (lower body) for Tuesday's matchup against the Kings.
