Xhekaj (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.
According to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, Xhekaj will replace Owen Beck in Sunday's lineup against Winnipeg. The 22-year-old Xhekaj missed the last six games. He hasn't earned a point in two appearances this season, but he has recorded two shots on net, three hits and one blocked shot.
