Steeves scored a goal and added four assists in AHL Providence's 8-0 win over Lehigh Valley on Sunday.
Steeves had started slowly in the AHL this season before this breakout game. He now has seven over 10 contests on the year. The slow start didn't help his case after he missed out on the Bruins' Opening Night roster, but he'll be a candidate for a call-up later in the year if injuries pile up at the NHL level.
