Pyyhtia (lower body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Sabres.
Pyyhtia was ruled out prior to the start of the third period. The 24-year-old was already a long shot for the Opening Night roster, and an injury makes things more complicated for him. Pyyhtia is likely to spend most of 2026-27 with AHL Cleveland.
