Necas scored two goals, including one on the power play, on two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Stars.
Necas played a prominent offensive role for Colorado and came through when the team needed him the most, notching back-to-back goals in the second period, including a power-play strike that ended up standing as the game-winner. Necas has cracked the scoresheet in four of his first six appearances this season, tallying seven points (four goals, three assists) and 17 shots in that span.
