Malik Turner WR | SF
Malik Turner: Back with practice squad
Turner reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Turner was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's 20-10 win over the Falcons, failing to record any stats on offensive while playing 10 snaps with the unit. With Ricky Pearsall (knee) unavailable, Turner's 10 offensive snaps ranked fourth at wide receiver, behind Jauan Jennings (57), Kendrick Bourne (52) and Demarcus Robinson (23). Additionally, Turner compiled two tackles on kick coverage and one takedown on punt coverage in Week 7. The wide receiver will now have to be officially signed to the active roster to appear in another game this season.

Lil'Jordan Humphrey WR | DEN
Giants' Lil'Jordan Humphrey: Heads back to practice squad
Humphrey reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
In this past Sunday's loss to Denver, Humphrey led New York's wideouts with 74 offensive snaps (out of a possible 77), though he got only two targets and didn't catch either of him. Malik Nabers (knee) is out for the season, so Humphrey could eventually be signed to the active roster to provide every-week receiver depth. His role could be reduced, however, when Darius Slayton (hamstring) is ready to return to action.

Shedrick Jackson WR | LV
Shedrick Jackson: Heads back to practice squad
Jackson reverted to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Jackson was elevated to the active roster to help fill in for Jakobi Meyers (knee) and Alex Bachman (ankle) in Week 7, failing to record any stats while playing three offensive snaps in the team's 31-0 loss to the Chiefs. The wide receiver can be elevated two more times before he'd have to be officially added to the active roster.

Laquon Treadwell WR | IND
Laquon Treadwell: Returns to practice squad
Treadwell reverted to the Colts' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Treadwell was elevated to the active roster for the first time this season, failing to play any offensive snaps in the team's 38-24 win over the Chargers. The wide receiver did log three tackles on kick coverage though, playing 12 snaps on special teams. Treadwell can be elevated two more times before the team would have to officially sign him to the active roster.

Mike Evans WR | TB
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Ruled out with pair of injuries
Evans will not return to Monday's game against the Lions due to concussion and shoulder injuries, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Evans was hurt on an attempted catch deep down the field in the second quarter. He remained on the field for several minutes and was then carted to the locker room after walking to the sideline. Evans was quickly ruled out and is presumably set to undergo imaging to get further information on the shoulder injury.

Mike Evans WR | TB
Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Carted to locker room
Evans suffered a shoulder injury in Monday's game against the Lions, per the ESPN broadcast.
Evans attempted to make a deep catch in the second quarter but jarred his upper body off the turf. He was on the field for a few minutes while being attended to by trainers. Evans was ultimately able to walk off the field, but he was seen being carted to the locker room on the broadcast.

Tyler Lockett WR | LV
Tyler Lockett: Time in Tennessee over
The Titans granted Lockett his release Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
In seven games with the Titans, Lockett caught just 10 of his 21 targets for 70 yards. With the 33-year-old receiver not fitting the rebuilding 1-6 Titans' timeline, he'll be given the chance to catch on elsewhere for the remainder of the season. Even if Lockett lands with a playoff-contending team with stronger quarterback play, he'll likely struggle to find enough snaps to make a meaningful fantasy impact.

Ricky Pearsall WR | SF
49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Week 8 status TBD
Coach Kyle Shanahan noted Monday that the 49ers will continue monitoring Pearsall (knee) ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Pearsall was unable to practice last week before being ruled out for the 49ers' Week 7 win over the Falcons. At this stage, the wideout's status for this weekend's game is cloudy, with added context regarding his chances of returning to the lineup set to arrive no later than Wednesday's injury report. In Pearsall's absence versus Atlanta, Jauan Jennings and Kendrick Bourne led the team's WR corps, with Demarcus Robinson, Malik Turner and Skyy Moore mixing in.
-
Colton Dowell WR | BAL
Colton Dowell: Lands with Baltimore
The Ravens signed Dowell to their practice squad Monday.
Dowell tore his ACL in December 2023 and missed the entire 2024 season. He was cut by the Titans this past July but will now get a look from the Ravens via the practice squad.

John Metchie III WR | NYJ
Eagles' John Metchie: Goes unused in Week 7
Metchie didn't see the field in Sunday's 28-22 win over the Vikings.
Metchie hasn't played more than seven offensive snaps in any game this season, but that number dropped all the way to zero for the first time in Week 7. While he was not listed on the Eagles' injury report, he spent the whole game on the sidelines, failing to see any usage even on special teams.
