  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Titans' Nick Folk: Perfect day in loss

Folk made his only field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Seahawks.

Folk had a relatively quiet day but was effective when called upon. He made a 33-yard field goal late in the first half and has now made 28 of his 29 field-goal attempts this season. Folk was also perfect on his point-after attempts after missing one in two of his past three contests.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Excellent despite loss

Dicker made all five of his field-goal attempts and also nailed his only extra-point try in the 24-22 loss to the Bills on Saturday.

Dicker put together an absolutely monster performance including a 53-yard field goal that looked like it had another eight yards to spare, but it would have been tough to predict this sort of outcome given Easton Stick led an offense that previously struggled to generate much in a blowout loss against the Raiders last week. It's clear the second-year kicker is one of the most accurate in the league, and at this point concerns about a lack of leg strength seem unfounded, but offensive consistency likely caps Dicker's fantasy upside most weeks.

  • Mason Crosby K | NYG

Giants' Mason Crosby: Elevated to active roster

The Giants elevated Crosby to the active roster Sunday.

Mike reported Friday that Crosby is set to take over the kicking duties for Monday's game against the Eagles after Cade York was placed on the practice squad/injured list after sustaining a quadriceps injury during practice. York was brought in after Graham Gano (knee) and Randy Bullock (hamstring) were both placed on IR. Crosby hasn't had a chance to attempt a field goal this year, though he did spend some time on the Rams' practice squad before being cut by the team Dec. 12.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Set to undergo MRI

Hopkins is slated to undergo an MRI on his hamstring, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

Hopkins was forced out of Sunday's 36-22 win over the Texans with a hamstring injury after making two extra-point tries. Given the Browns' upcoming short week, the kicker's status for Thursday's game against the Jets could be in danger.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Won't return Sunday

Hopkins won't return to Sunday's game against the Texans after sustaining a hamstring injury, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.

Prior to exiting Sunday's contest, Hopkins made both of his extra-point tries. Per Doc Louallen of the Browns' official site, the kicker injured his hamstring with 12:04 left in the second quarter after chasing Houston RB Dameon Pierce on a 98-yard kick return that resulted in a TD.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Hurts hamstring Sunday

Hopkins is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Texans due to a hamstring injury, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Prior to sustaining the injury, Hopkins had hit both of his extra-point tries versus Houston. Heading into Week 16 action, Hopkins had recorded 121 points in 14 games.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Makes lone kick in Week 16 loss

McPherson made his only field-goal attempt and didn't try any extra points in Saturday's loss to Pittsburgh.

The Bengals fell behind big early and trailed 24-0 at the half, so the team elected to go for a two-point conversion after scoring a touchdown on its opening drive of the third quarter. However, McPherson did get the opportunity to attempt a field goal in the closing seconds of the period with Cincinnati facing a 4th-and-15. The third-year kicker nailed the 35-yard attempt, giving him at least one made field goal in each of the team's 15 games this season.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Perfect against Cincinnati

Boswell converted both of his field-goal attempts while making all four of his extra-point tries during the Steelers' 34-11 win over the Bengals on Saturday.

Boswell missed one of two extra-point tries during last week's loss to Indianapolis, but he bounced back against the Steelers' AFC North rival Saturday. The 32-year-old has been relatively accurate in 2023, making 25 of 27 field-goal attempts while converting 22 of 23 extra-point tries.

  • Mike Badgley K | IND

Lions' Michael Badgley: Bumps up from practice squad

The Lions elevated Badgley from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game at Minnesota.

Badgley swapped in for Riley Patterson as Detroit's placekicker last Saturday against the Broncos and made all six point-after tries presented to him. The team then waived Patterson on Tuesday, paving the way for Badgley to handle all kicking duties for the Lions moving forward. After Sunday, Detroit can elevate Badgley one more time before needing to sign him to the active roster, but it could clear up any questions about his standing by doing so in advance of Week 17 action.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: Sticking in Chicago

Santos signed a four-year, $16 million extension with the Bears on Saturday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Santos has spent the last four seasons in Chicago while making 90.5 percent of his field-goal attempts in three full campaigns. To this point in 2023, he's made six field goals of more than 50 yards and has converted 27 of his 29 field-goal attempts overall. Santos will remain the Bears' kicker for the foreseeable future, and the contract will take him through his age-35 season.
