The Browns waived Mitchell-Paden (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Kelsey Russo of the team's official site reports.
Mitchell-Paden sustained an undisclosed injury during Cleveland's preseason contest against the Vikings nearly two weeks ago. However, it now appears he's past the issue, as he was dropped by the Browns without an injury designation Tuesday. The Florida Atlantic product has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game, but he may return to the Browns' practice squad if he clears waivers.
