Grier signed with the Eagles' practice squad Wednesday.
The 2019 third-round pick lost the Eagles' No. 2 quarterback battle to both Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee during the preseason, but Grier will remain on the team's practice squad. Grier most recently appeared in an NFL game in 2019 with the Panthers, throwing for 228 yards and four interceptions across two contests.
