Price (knee) cleared waivers Tuesday and was placed on injured reserve, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Price has a season-ending injury, so he'll remain on IR unless an injury settlement is reached. The 25-year-old's absence may affect the Vikings depth for the final two preseason games, but he wasn't expected to make the 53-man roster.
