The Commanders waived Martin on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Martin will be an option to land on Washington's practice squad, if he goes unclaimed on waivers. The 27-year-old wideout appeared in one regular-season game with the Titans last season and got a chance to make the first catch of his NFL career, securing one of two targets for a 49-yard touchdown.
