Shrader signed with the Colts' practice squad Thursday.
Shrader was facing an uphill battle to beat out Matt Gay for the team's kicker job, but he did manage to earn a spot on the practice squad. An undrafted free agent out of USF, Shrader will likely have a chance to be promoted to the active roster if Gay gets injured.
