Tonyan was cut from the Chiefs' practice squad Wednesday, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.
Tonyan landed with Kansas City on Dec. 23 after he was let go by the Vikings. The Indiana State product never made it to the Chiefs' active roster over the last three weeks, and his exit made room for Jason Brownlee to be added to the practice squad.
