Bryce Young is set to miss at least the Panthers' Week 8 contest, and potentially additional time, with a high-ankle sprain. That leave Andy Dalton to start Sunday's Week 8 game against the Bills, with White likely to be elevated to the active roster to serve as the backup. White has also spent time with the Bengals' practice squad this season.
