Bates did not attempt a field goal while going 5-for-5 on extra-point tries in Sunday's 37-24 win over the Bengals.

Bates went without a field-goal attempt in a game for the first time since Week 4 of the 2024 campaign. The kicker is still off to a strong start this season, going 6-for-8 on field-goal tries, including 1-for-3 from 50-plus yards, while also making all 22 of his extra-point attempts over the team's first five games.
