Washington terminated Pamphile's contract Thursday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reports.
The six-year veteran has played all 56 games of his career between Tampa Bay and Tennessee. He looked set to compete for a depth role in Washington in 2020, and will instead now be free to look for a depth role with another club.
