Karty was signed to the Rams' practice squad Monday.
Karty was waived by the team Friday, but he'll now stick around Los Angeles as a member of the team's practice unit. The kicker was relegated to the bench after the team signed Harrison Mevis in early November, and Karty will now have to wait for his next chance to join the active roster down the road.
