Heath was released by the Saints on Friday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Hill was initially included on the Saints' 53-man roster, but he'll be let go ahead of the season opener. The 30-year-old appeared in 13 games with the Raiders last year and totaled 37 tackles (28 solo) and three interceptions.
