The Jets signed Fales to the practice squad Sunday, Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.com reports.
The Jets couldn't keep Fales on the active roster, with Sam Darnold, Joe Flacco (neck) and James Morgan all already occupying spots. Instead, the team will stash him on the practice squad as an emergency placeholder.
