Anger agreed to a one-year contract with the Cowboys on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Anger's wealth of experience should give him a leg up over Hunter Niswander for Dallas' punting job, but he could still have to compete for a roster spot this offseason. He averaged 46.4 yards per punt with Houston last season.
