McNary will not receive a tender offer from the Colts, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.
McNary was a quality backup and special teams player for the Colts in 2016. He had 23 tackles and a forced fumble while playing in all 16 games. He'll be an unrestricted free agent when the new league year begins Thursday.
