Rumph (foot) was placed on injured reserve by the Chargers on Tuesday.
Rumph suffered a foot injury in the Chargers' preseason matchup with the Seahawks on Aug. 12 and he'll now be forced to miss the 2024 season as a result. The linebacker will now shift his focus to being ready to go for training camp in 2025.
