Werner was released by the Jaguars on Tuesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Werner is a former first-round draft pick, but hasn't found much success in the NFL. He didn't put up stellar numbers with the Colts in his first couple seasons in the league, but he could catch on with another squad at some point.
